Although new boat owners can be wary of spending the extra money, a well-made outboard motor cover is one of the most important purchases for protecting your investment for years to come.
While some dealers would have you think otherwise, simply having an aftermarket part or modifying your boat cannot void your warranty. However, if that part led to something breaking on the boat, the dealership can deny that particular warranty claim. All claims manifest under different operating conditions.
Tuff Skinz coated polyester fabric with non-woven backer, and graphics when used properly, are guaranteed for a period of three (3) years from date of original installation against excessive loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, rot, or normal atmospheric chemicals which might render it unserviceable. Graphics that separate from the fabric will NOT be covered under this warranty if they have been subjected to high pressure. (i.e. pressure washing, etc.)
